SHUNSHINE ON MY SHOULDERS MAKES ME HAPPY ...................(JOHN

It has been beautiful these past few days i'm almost
optimistic.Optimistic for a warm hazy summer of festivals - a light
breeze blowing our hair as our guitars soar across the fields and
parks.Spring always makes me optimistic and nostalgic - did all the
happy memories occur in spring/summer - surely not.The sunshine makes
me dream you see - it always has.I remember being awoken from one of my
early dreams by a ruler across the head.My report cards always said -
"a bit of a dreamer".Well those teachers were smart but no ruler knock
it out of me.I'm still a dreamer - dreaming of a better world with no
wars or disease and disasters and where Monica would be no.1 in the
charts.Ouch!!!!!!! Think someone hit me with a ruler.
